If we want to do the horseshoe tournament, do we need to bring our own horseshoes? And, last year we got to the park at about 11:30 and wanted to sign up for horseshoes and were told we needed to get there by 8am. Same thing this year?

    1. Horseshoes are run by the lions club. We were told that signups are at noon, unfortunately we don’t know about providing horseshoes. You can email them directly at winterslionsclub@yahoo.com

  2. The 501st Legion: Central California Garrison will be participating in the Youth Day Parade and available for photo ops in City Park at 12:30 PM. The 501st Legion is an all-volunteer, worldwide Star Wars costuming organization whose members participate in events that promote charitable causes. Please check us out at http://www.501st.com. The Youth Day Schedule mistakenly refers to us as the “501st Battalion”. If that could be corrected to read, “501st Legion”, that would be great! Thanks! …TK-5906

  3. I’ve fixed the typo and we’re so excited that you’ll be joining us this year.

  4. Carrie says:

Am I reading this correctly, that we sign up for the Kiddie Parade at 8:45 am the day of the parade?

    Thank you!!

    Carrie

    1. Yes, kiddie parade sign ups are in the morning. We judge the kiddie parade starting at 9:30 a.m, so you need to be checked in and lined up prior to that.

  5. Robert says:

What time are the sign up for horseshoe contest?

    1. Sign ups start right after the parade is over.
